This is the shot list we use for the Venom car build — black goo crawls in, grabs the badge, collapses into a ball, bursts, and assembles your car from the chassis up — written as a prompt you can paste into an image-to-video model along with one photo of your car. It works best with models that accept a reference image and render 10–15 seconds in one take.
The prompt
Vertical 9:16, 15 seconds, one continuous shot, photorealistic.
The finished car must exactly match the car in the reference photo: body shape, paint color, wheels, grille and lights.
Scene: a bright modern garage showroom, glossy light-grey epoxy floor with white parking lines, black walls, white LED strips on the ceiling. No text or logos except the car's own badge.
Goo: living, jet-black, glossy symbiote goo with thin white veins, moving like liquid metal, splitting into tendrils and spikes, with weight and contact shadows.
0.0–2.3 s: low camera behind the goo. The goo crawls forward across the floor, away from the camera. A few meters ahead, the car's badge lies flat on the floor.
2.3–3.5 s: the front of the goo opens like claws and grabs the badge, wrapping it completely.
3.5–4.0 s: the goo swallows the badge and shrinks into a smooth, shiny black ball.
4.0–5.0 s: spikes burst from the ball and it explodes outward into a radial splash; the center starts to rise.
5.0–7.5 s: chassis, suspension, four wheels and drivetrain grow out of the goo, still dripping; the camera pulls back and arcs to the front of the car.
7.5–9.8 s: body panels, hood, doors, then roof and glass grow over the chassis; the whole car is covered in black goo, already the shape of the car in the photo.
9.8–11.3 s: the goo peels back from the nose to the tail, revealing the real paint and details; the badge sits on the nose.
11.3–15.0 s: headlights and DRLs switch on; the car sits centered facing the camera, almost still, with a slow push-in.
Avoid: a different car, wrong color or wheels, the car fading in, skipping the chassis, people, hands, a second car, captions, watermarks, cuts, slow motion.Tips that make the biggest difference
- Photo first. Whole car, three-quarter or front view, daylight, no filters. Models invent whatever the photo hides. See 5 car photo tips.
- Describe the car in words too. Add one line like "a blue BMW M4 coupe with black wheels" — models drift back to a generic car without it.
- Don't feed the original trend video as a reference. In our tests, Seedance copied the original car and badges from a reference clip and ignored the photo; the prompt alone kept the uploaded car.
- Want your own badge? Add a second image and say "the badge on the floor is the logo in image 2".
- Ask for sound. Models that generate audio add goo, metal and engine effects that match the build.
